ABOUT OUR MATS
What are the pet yoga mats made from?
Our pet yoga mats are made from human-grade, textured, open-cell, odorless, high-density PVC foam; making them extremely resilient and durable with a long product life span. Our mats are completely latex free, lead free and free of heavy metals and AZO dyes. Our mats are also 6P Phthalates Free which means they are manufactured free of the top 6 most harmful phthalates (DEHP, DBP, DNHP, BBP, DIDP, DINP) which makes it a healthier choice for your pet and the planet. Your pet’s body will be touching it so we always strive for safe materials.
Do your mats have a chemical smell?
No. Our pet yoga mats are odorless and do not have an unpleasant smell or the typical "new yoga mat" chemical smell.
Do your mats provide good cushioning?
Yes! Our pet yoga mats are extra thick and deluxe at 1/4” (over 6mm). This is twice as thick as a typical yoga mat and that cushioning helps provides much better protection for your pet's joints on hard floors.
How do I get my dog or cat to use the pet yoga mat?
We find that most dogs and cats get on the mats right away ...especially if you already have a yoga mat or fitness mat at home. Some pets will even drag their mat to wherever they want to lay. But some pets may take a bit longer to become familiar with it. To help get your pet use to the mat, you can place treats, toys or a favorite blanket on the mat. For cats, you can also sprinkle or spray catnip on the mat to help entice them. You can also try placing the mat in one of their favorite spots or next to their beds. CAUTION: THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A CHEW TOY AND IS NOT INTENDED FOR PETS THAT CHEW THINGS. Remove all packaging and tags before use. No toy is indestructible. Always supervise pet while in use. Do not allow pet to ingest any parts.
Can the yoga mats be used for other pets besides cats and dogs?
Yes! And we offer smaller yoga mats for other pets. Use it as a play mat for rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice, sugar gliders, bearded dragons, iguanas, chameleons, snakes, turtles, hermit crabs and more.
No matter what type of pet you have: Always supervise pet while in use and do not allow pet to chew, gnaw or ingest any parts.
Can I order an unbranded mat?
Yes. Our mats feature the Pet Yogis logo. However, if you would prefer a mat without a logo, you can request this in the box labeled "Add a note to your order” during checkout.
SIZING
What size pet yoga mat should I buy for my pet?
There are many factors that can go into this decision including your pet’s height and length, their personality, the available space in your home and even your home’s décor. Below are suggested pet weight guidelines but your pet may be an exception. Be sure to also measure your pet to make sure the yoga mat size will work. Do you offer any other mat sizes? Can I get a custom-sized mat made to order?
Yes! If you need a yoga mat sized to custom dimensions, email us with your specs and color preferences and we’ll send you pricing and instructions for ordering.
COLORS
What color mats do you offer?
For most mats, we offer 10 colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Purple, Black, Pink, White

Do dogs prefer a certain mat color?
Dog vision is quite different from human vision and they see colors differently than we do. It can be compared to color blindness in humans. Experts say that dogs see blues and yellows best but have difficuty in distinguishing reds from greens. Dogs also have blurrier vision than humans; this varies depending on breed. Therefore, brighter items may be preferred. Other dog parents have said their canines prefer red, pink or orange items. Of course, the color choice is ultimately yours (...or theirs!) but we do offer canine eye-catching colors in bright blue and bright yellow as well as many other colors.
Do cats prefer a certain mat color?
Cat eyesight is quite similar to human eyesight and they can see a bit more color than dogs. Studies have shown that cats see blues, greens and yellows best and can tell the difference between various shades of gray. It is believed that cats see the color red as gray. Other cat parents have told us their felines tend to prefer black, red, pink or orange items.
There are plenty of examples of cats resting in places that match their fur color (i.e. black cats preferring to lay on black things, orange cats preferring to lay on orange things). Maybe it is a cat’s hunter instinct that makes them seek camouflaging spots so they blend in perfectly with their surroundings. Or perhaps it is the same color of their mother or siblings' fur and they find that comforting. Who knows for sure!?!
Ultimately, the color choice is yours (...or theirs!) but we do offer feline eye-catching colors in bright blue, bright green and bright yellow along with many other color choices.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
How do I clean / care for the mat?
Our pet yoga mats are EASY TO CLEAN! Hose it down or use a cloth with cold water and mild soap or mild detergent to gently wipe down the mat. Be sure to wipe off all soapy residue. Dry flat or drip dry in the shade for a long, colorful life. Not to worry - the mat will not smear or bleed!
To help increase the lifespan of the mat:
- DO NOT put mat in a washing machine; throwing it in a washer can instantly ruin it
- DO NOT put mat in a dryer
- DO NOT dry clean, bleach or iron
- DO NOT leave mat in excessive cold or hot temperatures; mat may fade, become brittle and unusable if exposed to sun for extended periods of time
- DO NOT leave mat inside a vehicle on a hot day
- DO NOT use air fresheners or other commercial toxic cleaners on mat
- DO NOT use essential oils on mat as some can be toxic to animals
- DO NOT place mat under heat lamps or anything hot or warm
- DO NOT place mat in water bowls or in aquatic tanks of any kind
How do I store the mat or travel with the mat?
To store the mat, roll it up with the topside or logo side facing outward. This keeps the corners of the mat flat when you unroll it and can help prevent creases on the topside of the mat.

Can you ship my gift order to another address and include a personal message?
Yes! During checkout, you can add a personal message in the "Add a note to your order” box. Next, make sure the shipping address is the gift recipient’s address and the billing address is yours. That’s it! The package will ship directly to the gift recipient with your message printed on the packing slip. No price or payment details will be included.
Can you include a handwritten message with my gift order?
Yes! If you would like to personalize your gift more with a handwritten message to your gift recipient, add a Pet Yogis Postcard (with envelope) to your order. We will handwrite your message on it and include it with the gift order. The postcard can be found under the main menu under SHOP – MORE.
Can I shop for myself and for a gift in one transaction?
While you can specify a different billing and shipping address during checkout, the shopping cart does not allow for multiple shipping addresses. So orders with more than one shipping address must be placed separately.
What can I do if my gift won't arrive on time?
In case your gift will not arrive on time, you can DOWNLOAD FREE GIFT NOTES and CARDS below to present as a gift until your package(s) arrives. Options are available as a gift note (for email / text / print) or a foldover card (for print). For easy printing, each is setup on a letter-size sheet (8.5″ x 11″). The foldover card can be cut out and folded to a 5" x 7" and left blank on the inside for your personal message.

How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed securely online - safe, fast and easy. You can make changes and review what you have entered nearly every step of the way. Once your order is completed, you will automatically be sent an "Order Confirmation" email to the email you entered during checkout.
You can also order by mail. Please note that we are an online store only and do not have a store location for purchases.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal, plus Apple Pay, Facebook Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Venmo.
We also accept checks and money orders for mail orders. Personal checks must clear prior to shipment of your order.
When will my credit card be charged?
You will be charged for your order at the time the order is processed. The transaction will appear on your credit card statement as "PETYOGIS."

FREE SHIPPING TO U.S. ADDRESSES
Free standard shipping is valid on orders to U.S. addresses, including U.S. Territories, shipped to a single U.S. address.
We also ship to Canada and the U.K.; these shipping rates are calculated during checkout.
When will my order ship?
Orders are shipped within 2 to 3 business days from our location in Ocean View, Delaware, USA. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Be sure to check your shipping address; we are not responsible for items shipped to an old, incorrect or invalid shipping address. If your order requires additional information to fully process, we will be in touch by email.
How will my order be shipped?
Our standard shipping methods are via the United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground, as determined by Pet Yogis.
Orders to Canada and the U.K. are shipped via USPS (to the Canada Post or Royal Mail which handles final delivery of the package) or UPS.
How long will it take to receive my order?
STANDARD SHIPPING TIMES:
- For the contiguous U.S.: Once shipped, you should receive your order within 5-8 business days.
- For Hawaii and Alaska: Once shipped, you should receive your order within 3 weeks (Note: Remote locations in Alaska may take longer due to varying delivery schedules in the area.)
- For U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, etc.): Once shipped, you should receive your order within a 3 weeks however it may take longer for U.S. Minor Outlying Islands.
- For Canada and the U.K.: Once shipped, you should receive your order within 2 weeks.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Yes! However, we do recommend using a street address whenever possible as P.O. Boxes may delay delivery. Also, a physical address is required for Express Delivery.
For orders of our largest circle and square mats (72 inches), there can be USPS limitations based on weight, length and shipping distance. Therefore, we recommend providing a physical street address in case we choose to ship through UPS.
Note: We are unable to ship to General Delivery addresses.
Do you ship to APO / FPO / DPO addresses?
Yes! All Army Post Office (APO), Fleet Post Office (FPO) and Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) orders are shipped via USPS to a military base or embassy who is then responsible for delivering the package to your location. Please note that delivery times to military and diplomatic mail addresses in foreign countries can be upwards of 15-20 business days.
At checkout, please select the United States as the country. In the state drop-down menu, you have the option to select one of the following: Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Europe or Armed Forces Pacific.
Do you ship to U.S. Territories?
Yes! We ship mats via USPS to territories of the U.S., including Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, international shipping of our mats is limited to Canada and the U.K. only. Shipping rates to Canada and the U.K. are calculated at checkout.
Please note: We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes, duties or handling fees. Any customs or import duties are charged once the package reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. This applies only to international orders.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes. With the environment in mind, we use recycled or recyclable packaging materials and we continue to strive to use as minimal packaging as possible to ship our products.
Our shipping boxes consist of 100% post-consumer recyclability cardboard; please consider reusing, recycling or composting. Our packaging tape is made with over 50% recycled materials and is recyclable. Our packing slip paper is recyclable and FSC-certified and endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance to assure that the paper is environmentally appropriate. Any brown packing paper is recyclable in most curbside recycling programs. Any bubble wrap or air pillows used are recyclable; please consider reusing it or recycling. Some cities offer curbside recycling for plastic bags and plastic film but where not available, please use designated store drop-off locations. AFTER ORDERING
Can I have my tracking number?
First off, THANK YOU for ordering with us! Yes - once your package ships, you will receive a shipment notification via email and/or text with your tracking number and a link to the shipping carrier's website to track your package. If you are having trouble finding your tracking number, email info@petyogis.com and we will provide the tracking number for you.
My order hasn’t arrived yet. What do I do?
If it is beyond the estimated shipping times since placing your order, email us at info@petyogis.com with your order number or the name and address on the order and we will check into it.
Please note: If an order is returned to us as refused or undeliverable (receptacle was full, item oversized for receptacle, unclaimed, incorrect address, etc.), we can ship it again but customer is responsible for costs to reship. If a refund is requested rather than reshipment on any refused or undeliverable order, a 30% restocking fee will be assessed.
I entered the wrong shipping address. What now?
Before Shipping: Email us at info@petyogis.com before your order ships to request a change of address.
After Shipping: We are not able to change addresses on orders that have shipped. If we receive your shipment back due to an incorrect address, we can ship it again but customer is responsible for costs to reship. If the order is not returned to us, then it becomes a matter between you and the shipping service (USPS, UPS, etc.) / individual residing at the address where the package was delivered. We are not responsible for lost shipments due to incorrect address entry.

What if something is wrong with my order?
At Pet Yogis, we are dedicated to your satisfaction! All orders are quality inspected prior to shipment. In the chance that you have a problem with an order, please email us at info@petyogis.com. We will be happy to assist you.
Please note: While we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for products lost or damaged in transit due to the performance of carriers, we will assist our customers in any deficiency in third-party shipping services.
What is your Return Policy?
We offer a 14-day Return Policy, less any surcharge or shipping (outside the U.S.) paid. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that you will need to pay the return shipping cost; costs incurred to return an item are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must (1) be in the same new, unused condition that you received it, free from damage/dirt/marks, (2) include all tags and in its original packaging, and (3) include receipt or proof of purchase. Items exposed to smoke will not be accepted under any circumstances.
To start a return or for any question on a return, email us at info@petyogis.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We encourage that you ship with a service that provides a tracking number or delivery notification. Pet Yogis is not responsible if a return is not received/lost in transit. All returns received after the 14-day window will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Sorry, we cannot accept returns on the purchase of gift cards, custom-sized made-to-order mats or items with personalization.
Purchase Agreement
By completing your order, you verify that you will not hold Pet Yogis, its affiliates, suppliers or owners responsible in any way from injuries or complications that could incur from your purchase of the product(s).

We are currently selling online and direct to customer.
